Intralox Activated Roller Belt™
GMH has been licensed to manufacture machinery equipped with
Intralox Activated Roller Belt™ (ARB) technology. Proven in Europe, Australia, Japan,
and the U.S. in over 1,000 installations, Intralox Activated Roller Belt technology has
revolutionised key package and material handling functions by making simple, effective,
and affordable automation possible. While specific operational advantages depend upon
the individual application, both existing automated installations and manual operations
can benefit from this innovative technology.
Conveyors equipped with Intralox ARB™ technology can intelligently move items
to the left, right, or center of the conveyor and can also change the speed of an item,
all without complex electrical controls. Rollers built into the belt can be angled to the
direction of travel. By simple carryway selection and engagement, the forward motion of the belt causes the rollers to change the conveyed product's direction and speed.
Here are some proven reasons why factories and logistics centres are replacing older machinery with Intralox Activated Roller Belt™ equipment and specifying it for newprojects:
- Fewer jams and improved accuracy
- Flexibility for different package or case types
- Smaller footprint, offering more layout flexibility
- Lower initial costs and lower life-cycle costs
The GMH Sorter is equipped with Intralox ARB™ technology, a sortation technology proven to make economic sense when you want to do the following:
Replace labour in a manual sortation process
Increase throughput capacity. At speeds of 1,500 to 5,000 products per hour, manual sortation is usually not a viable option, but the large investment for cross belt, tilt tray, and sliding shoe sorters often cannot be justified.
1500 pph based on maximum product length of 1200 mm
5000 pph based on maximum product length of 500 mm
Handle small, fragile products. Compared to pop-up wheel and pusher arm sorters, only an Intralox-equipped sorter can handle multimedia, books, electronics, fasteners, and other products as small as 100 mm x 75 mm.
Handle heavy products.
A wide variety of customers such as food factories, beverage factories, and distribution centers are seeing proven benefits from Intralox-equipped singulators. The GMH Singulator comes equipped with Intralox ARB™ technology, delivering results of operational excellence by ensuring the steady flow of packages in single file. You too can realise the benefits of the GMH Singulator. With a footprint of only four to ten linear meters of floor space which is less than half the footprint of most other automated singulator systems.
Using ARB™ as its core component, the GMH Switch is designed to reduce maintenance and downtime associated with traditional slat switches, and it offers far greater throughput capacity than pusher arms. It’s a simple, cost-effective solution for conveying boxes, packages, or cases in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
